About the property

The holiday apartment is located on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland National Park.

It is ideally situated for hikers, cyclists, and those seeking peace and quiet.

A stylishly furnished apartment awaits you, offering breathtaking views of Saxon Switzerland and the Eastern Ore Mountains. A lockable bicycle shed with charging facilities for your e-bike, as well as parking for your car, are provided.

The Accommodation

After ascending the solid sandstone steps to the front door and passing through the old wooden door, a few more steps lead up to the first floor.

In the carefully renovated stairwell, we have preserved some of the original paintwork. The original apartment door from the late 19th century has been restored and simply oiled. Even the old letterbox is still there.

When furnishing the apartment, we placed great emphasis on honoring the historic charm of the old house while integrating modern comforts. You will find predominantly antique furniture throughout the rooms.

The large kitchen is modernly equipped, including a dishwasher. Nothing stands in the way of a little culinary adventure.

Feel free to use our seasonally available produce. Our farm shop is right next door. We only serve organic food, and we apply the same principles to our bees, sheep, chickens, and our fruit and vegetables.

The spacious bathroom features a very large shower.

Upon request (after a brief introduction to ensure the fire doesn't get too big ;) ), you can make the colder months even cozier with the small wood-burning stove.

Of course, there's also central heating so it's warm when you arrive.

To help pass the time on rainy days, we have a small selection of books.

This holiday apartment is our first (la primera), and we've designed everything just as we would want it to be on our own travels.

Guest Access

In the garden, there's a furnished terrace for our guests to use. The charmingly historic bicycle shed offers charging facilities for e-bikes. A parking space is available directly on the property, so you won't have to carry your luggage far.

We kindly ask you to treat our holiday apartment and antique furnishings with care and respect. This will allow other like-minded guests to also enjoy a pleasant stay in this beautiful place.

Due to its specific features, the apartment is only suitable for a maximum of two adults without children.

Even if it's just a short stroll around the block, you're guaranteed memorable moments. Of course, a mountain bike, road bike, gravel bike – whatever you prefer, with or without electric assistance – can easily be ridden here. But be warned, it's at least hilly ;)

No list could possibly be exhaustive. The options are vast. From Elbersdorf, you can easily reach everything in the Saxon Switzerland/Pirna/Dresden/Meissen region. A day trip to Prague is also quite feasible, as are visits to the Brandenburg open-cast mining lakes. In winter, nearby Altenberg/Zinnwald, on the Ore Mountains ridge, is a great spot for cross-country skiing. There are also a few small ski and snowboard slopes with lifts.
